EVALUATION OF FEEDING PROGRAMS
- As independent consultants, they are in a position to offer impartial advice on feeding programs.
- Alternative feeding programs may be designed based on raw materials (grains/protein meals) or commercial feeds and supplements to balance existing nutrient levels from pastures and other sources.

HERD IMPROVEMENT
Through research and collaborations with veterinarians and universities, Equine Consulting Services strives to improve broodmare and stallion productivity, foal growth and development and racehorse performance, and reduce the incidence of disease and injury through improved feeding programs and management strategies. PASTURE/GRAIN MONITORING
In situations where pasture or raw grains make up the bulk of a feeding program, samples are routinely tested for nutrient profiles to ensure feeding programs remain optimal. In stud farm environments, this information is often provided to agronomists to assist in improving soil management and pasture growth.
FEED COST MANAGEMENT
Cost benefit analyses are conducted when devising and evaluating feeding programs, giving our clients an indication of feed costs on a per horse per day basis. Strategies to minimise costs are advised.
