BLUD 28.4G SACHET, BOX OF 30
Horses suffering heavy parasitism, coming into work (sports related aneamia) or suffering blood loss aneamia will benefit from an Iron supplement. Blud is an oral Iron, Vitamin B, Mineral and high quality protein supplement indicated to be used as a treatment option in these conditions.
The performance horse is often stabled whilst in work and hand-fed. Iron and minerals are obtained from ingestion of soil and vitamins from fresh pasture. The stress of training places greater demands on the oxygen carrying system of the blood, the energy metabolism system as well as the free radical and waste removal systems of the body. Thus, an Iron and/or vitamin/mineral supplement is often required by the performance horse.
By simply adding Blud to the feed as directed, the necessity of using an injectable Iron supplement is eliminated. The butterscotch & molasses base gives excellent palatability and ready acceptance by the horse when administered in the feed. The texture is also slightly sticky, which ensures that Blud adheres to the feed to prevent sifting or separation.
It is appropriate to use Blud up to and including race day.
Sachet presentation ensures the product remains fresh and that there is no inadvertent deterioration of vitamins due to exposure to light, heat or atmosphere. Each sachet contains exactly one daily dose so there is no wastage or error in medication/supplementation. Eliminates "double dosing" or "no dosing" as the user can mark sachets individually, or leave on the top of feed until giving to horse. Each carton contains 30 x 28.4g sachets.
Directions for Use Horses with low blood count, or those just starting on Blud, 1 sachet daily for 10 days, followed by 1 sachet every second day. Each box of 30 sachets provides an initial 50 day course.
Maintenance dosage should then be continued at a maintenance dose of 3 sachets per week.
In the case of a return to low blood counts, repeat the initial course (1).
Blud can be used indefinitely, as required, with no risk of adverse effects.
