VALUE PLUS VITAMIN C INJECTION 100ML
Ascorbic acid, or Vitamin C as it is more commonly known, is an antioxidant. As such, it removes free radicals that cause damage to cells in the body. Antioxidants work by minimising the formation of these free radicals. By actively ridding the body of free radicals, vitamin C helps the animal recover more effectively from illness, injuries and other stresses. In addition, Vitamin C will work together with other antioxidants.
Vitamin C is synthesised naturally by the body. However, supplementation may be required if the animal is suffering from an illness or injury, or is under stress (either environmental or through activity).
Vitamin C, in conjunction with iron, can increase the oxygen flow in the body and helps with the formation of folic acid. Vitamin C aids general metabolism and in the formation of red blood cells. It also has a role in maintaining healthy cartilage, muscle and bone.
Active Ingredient:
Ascorbic Acid 500mg/mL.
Directions for Use:
Administer by intramuscular injection twice weekly, or as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Horses: 5 - 10ml or as required.
Dogs: 1 - 2ml or as required.
Store below 25 C (air conditioning). Protect from light.
