Muscle XL helps to correct low dietary levels & maximise muscle development & condition for horses in response to competition & exercise. It is an effective muscle & body building formula featuring a unique blend of high protein whey isolates, branched chain amino acids, tocopherol acetate, organic sulphur & organic zinc. Contains special dose directions to build muscle in 10 - 13 days. 800g is a 13-day introductory pack.
The majority of grain and hay based rations are low in essential branch chain amino acids that are required for optimum muscle development in growing and athletic horses, as well as assisting in important repair processes after strenuous exercise. Muscle XL is based on highly digestible whey isolates to provide the branch chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine, as well as high levels of glutamine, lysine, threonine and additional amino acids. The inclusion of Vitamin E helps assist antioxidant protection of muscle tissues during exercise, and an organic source of sulfur and chelated zinc corrects low or inadequate levels in the diet to provide specific nutrients for muscle protein synthesis.
Muscle XL is recommended as a dietary supplement for racing horses, performance and equestrian horses, growing horses, including weanlings and yearlings during sale preparation, and aged horses where optimum muscle mass and condition is desirable.
Directions for use:
15g (1 scoopful) for each 100kg bodyweight daily. Mix the measured supplement into a small amount of feed, or administer by syringe over the tongue as a slurry mixed in water, within 15 -30 mins of daily exercise or competition.
For optimum results, supplement daily for 10 - 14 days, then for 2 days prior to or after strenuous exercise to maintain muscle mass, or as required.

Each kg contains: Whey isolates 947.5g/kg, Vitamin E (as adsorbate) 8.333iu, Methysulphonylmethane 8.3g, Zinc (as proteinate) 3.3g, Vanilla milk flavouring.
Minimum crude protein 76%, max crude fibre 2%.
