In general, the amount of salt that horses receive through their normal forage is too small. The same thing goes for copper, which is important for all animals. Biotin is needed for hide, hair and hoofs. All of these substances exist in relatively small amounts in the normal forage, which is why an extra addition of these substances is recommended.
The iodised salt lick contains all of these substances and contributes to an increase in the horse's well-being. The iodised salt lick also has a well-balanced addition of Vitamin E and trace elements that are important for the body to be able to function without interference.
Place a salt lick block above or in close proximity to the your horses water source.
