EQUINE FIRST FOR DIGESTIVE HEALTH 2KG
Equine First contains Yea-Sacc, Bio-Mos and B Vitamins to aid in the maintenance of a healthy digestive and immune system. Without normal digestive function and the ability to resist pathogenic bacteria, horses will colic, have persistent diarrhea and become sick.
Equine First for Digestive Health contains the preferred live yeast culture for equine diets, - Yea Sacc, the world's leading prebiotic for gut health, Bio-Mos, and a complex of B vitamins in a palatable blend. It is designed to be added to a complete feed and is suitable for all classes of equines. Healthy gut function and a stable gut microflora are essential to the health and performance of your horse. Equine First when mixed into the feed, can help to maintain healthy gut function and microflora. The addition of Yea-Sacc improves digestibility of protein, fat and carbohydrates for maintaining high energy levels and growth, plus it stimulates milk production in mares if given at least 4 weeks prior to foaling and during lactation.
Yea-Sacc: Is the preferred live yeast culture for equine diets. Yea-Sacc stimulates the growth of cellulolytic bacteria which digest fibre (hay/pasture). Yea-Sacc also stimulates lactic acid utilising bacteria. These bacteria consume lactic acid, stabilize pH, and help prevent digestive disorders such as laminitis.
Bio-Mos: Is the world's leading prebiotic for gut health. Bio-Mos is a mannan oligosaccharide (sugar) molecule that is capable of binding pathogenic bacteria such as E.coli and Salmonella. Once bound, these dangerous bacteria pass harmlessly out of the system without causing disease. Bio-Mos is currently being utilised in many countries as a safe, natural replacement for antibiotics.
B-Vitamins: are normally produced by bacteria in the healthy hindgut of the horse. B Vitamins are added to promote normal feeding behaviour in sick horses, and to restore normal metabolism. B vitamins stimulate appetite, control metabolism and stimulate hoof and hair growth.
