5. Picking up your goods from our warehouse?
Please note,
HSD is a mail order business & our warehouse is NOT a retail shop.
If you wish to collect your order from our warehouse, please order by 11.00am
if you require same-day pickup.
Your order will be packed & ready for pickup after 3pm.
No same-day pickups prior to 3pm without specific arrangement.
MINIMUM ORDER VALUE:
Please note, that we do not process
mail-orders under $40.00 as they are not viable once the high costs of labour
and packaging are taken into account.
We dispatch
mail orders within 24 hours in most cases.
If you lodge your order by 11am, we'll do our best to dispatch it same-day if
possible.
Simple safeguards when shopping online for your horse
supplies:
The internet is flooded with equestrian
E-commerce stores.
Some are established, genuine businesses, but many
are dubious and "backyard" at best.
Be careful who you deal with.
1) Be very wary of buying from internet businesses who
fail to provide:

a valid business street address.
Anyone can hide behind a PO Box. No commercial premises = major risk.

a valid daytime contact
telephone number.

an ABN and/or an ACN

current Australian yellow &
white pages listing

a clearly stated returns
policy

detailed freight charges
-
tax invoices with goods
delivered
2) Websites which display
email-only as a "contact us" facility should be avoided.
3) If a price seems too good to
be true, it probably is. Stick with established, reputable companies &
you'll avoid the sharks.
4) Remember Security:

Never enter your credit card
details into a checkout if a secure "padlock" does not appear in the bottom
right hand corner of the screen.

Never send someone your credit
card details via email, as it is not encrypted & therefore not secure.
It's also illegal.

Keep your firewall, spyware and
antivirus software up to date.

Use caution when dealing
with anonymous email addresses (eg hotmail.com, yahoo.com)

Do not agree to financial
transactions with countries with a high risk of fraud, eg Nigeria,
Indonesia, Ghana, & some Eastern European countries.
